GPS 2019 TENNIS PREMIERSHIP – SEVEN IN A ROW FOR BBC

The 2019 GPS Tennis Premiership season saw some exceptionally strong individual and team performances from players across all nine GPS schools

Following a series of thrilling matches, the 2019 undefeated Premiership title was taken by Brisbane Boys’ College. This year’s victory marks the seventh GPS Tennis Premiership title in a row for BBC. Mr Chris Rolph, Director of Tennis at BBC commented, “The standard of tennis in the 1st 1V competition this year was very high. This accomplishment for everyone at BBC Tennis is testament to the principles, policies, practices and procedures that have been generated and put into place by the staff, students and parents of BBC Tennis over many years.”

Brisbane Grammar School took second place with The Southport School First IV coming in third.

Matches from across the schools were well supported and players, coaches, staff and parents enjoyed a wonderful 2019 GPS season.
