George Roubicek was a student at Toowoomba Grammar School from 1950-1953. He was an accomplished actor and appeared in J. Arthur Rank films and London stage shows.

Artist, William Robinson graduated from BSHS in 1951. Winning 2 Archibald Prizes—in 1987 and 1995—William is a prominent painter in the art world. His national fame grew in 1983 when several of his works featured in Sydney’s Australian Perspecta exhibition.

Alan Belford Jones was a student at Toowoomba Grammar School from 1955-1958. He has been a radio and television personality, public speaker and motivator, and international rugby union coach (1984-1988).

Architect & Designer: Michael graduated from BSHS in 1955. By 27, his drawings had made it to the Royal Academy of Arts (UK). After a stint in London, Michael returned to Australia and started his own architectural practice.

Sean Dorney is a Walkley Award winner and one of the ABC radio's most experienced and respected correspondents. He is the longest-serving Australian correspondent for any Australian media organisation in any single country or region.

Richard John Mills AMDMus BA (Hons) Qld is an Australian conductor and composer. He is currently the Artistic Director of Victorian Opera, and formerly Artistic Director of the West Australian Opera and Artistic Consultant with Orchestra Victoria.
